A face-to-face preparatory course for the FFICM OSCE and SOE exams enabling you to hone your technique in a supportive environment.
The course runs twice a year in the weeks before the Spring and Autumn exam sittings.

About the Course
SPPICE is a face-to-face mock examination course for ICM trainees preparing for the FFICM, OSCE and SOE exams.
Hosted at the Engineer’s House in leafy Clifton, Bristol enjoy learning alongside your peers in a fabulous setting.
Expert faculty are drawn from Consultants and Senior Trainees in Intensive Care Medicine from across the Southwest of England and high quality, individualised feedback is provided.
The program
Day 1 The OSCE Day – Fine tune your technique in a series of morning workshops on ECG interpretation, radiology and equipment before an afternoon of mock OSCE exams.
Day 2 The SOE Day – A full day of mock SOE exams. You’ll be examined in pairs to maximise your question exposure and learn from each other’s technique before a full mock SOE in the afternoon.
Choose from Day 1, Day 2 or both days depending upon your individual requirements.
Course costs: £250 per day/£500 for both days

NB This course is suitable for people who have already passed the Written FFICM Exam and are preparing for the OSCE and SOE.
